The term “refurbished” means that there was a flaw or defect in the airsoft rifle and was later fixed or “refurbished” to it’s original working condition. The chances of the same problem may arise but most retailer will allow you to bring it in for an exchange or get it fixed again.

I’ve taken the time and looked up some online airsoft stores that are currently selling refurbished airsoft sniper rifles, many of these site will either label the airsoft rifles as “Like New” instead of refurbished which basically means the same thing.
