AGM MP001 Airsoft Sniper Rifles

The bolt-action on this AGM MP-001 sniper rifle is “okay” but could be better, it’s not as smooth as a JG Bar10 bolt-action sniper rifle but it’ll do for a starting airsoft sniper rifle. The MP001 has excellent long range and is very surprisingly extreme accurate.  The best feature of this sniper rifle is that fact that it ultra light weight, weighing in at a little under 7 pounds. For this reason is why I recommend this gun for a beginner because it easier to carry around and won’t fatigue your arms when they’re trying to take aim and shoot. It’s not so say that this Airsoft sniper rifle isn’t good for a novice airsoft player too! I would also recommend this to novice snipers who game play requires long trek across the field. The weight of this sniper rifle is really a great benefit for any Airsoft sniper.

A few things I live about the AGM MP001 Airsoft sniper rifle is that the accuracy is on-point and the range on the rifle is not so bad itself. The MP-001 fires straight for about 40 feet then you’ll have to compensate, the FPS on thsi rifle is 20+ than what is advertised.  I also notice that you don’t need a scope if you are firing under 100ft, just aim down the rails and your fine. The sniper rifle itself looks realistic and the most important its extreme durable, I’ve drop this sniper rifle so many times and there are still no cracks and work perfectly fine.

Some things that I don’t like about this bolt-action sniper rifle is that the barrel is fairly short for a sniper rifle but it can achieve “decent” range which don’t really bother me. If you do decide to upgrade to longer and better aftermarket barrel you make this sniper rifle very effective. Another item I wanted to note was the  mag can only hold up to 30 BB’s, not really a big deal not sometimes you just want that extra capacity; just in case. Well there isn’t much that I can say that is wrong with this sniper rifle.

In the end, it’s great for someone who is just starting to learn how to be a Airsoft sniper or a seasoned Airsoft player who is looking for a ultra light weight Airsoft sniper rifle. The price for this sniper rifle is a steal! At $69-$80 you can have a Airsoft sniper rifle that can basically take out anyone in your path, all you need is some practice and you’ll be unstoppable!

Don’t get me wrong this is the best airsoft sniper rifle platform you can pickup stock, for about a hundred dollars you get the gun only. There’s also another JG BAR10 package called the G-Spec which comes with a suppressor with a slightly shorter barrel. You could also pick up another packages that include a scope, bi-pod or extra magazine clips which typically run from $120-$155.

For the basic package, the JG BAR10 Airsoft sniper rifles comes with a lot of cool things. First, there’s the speed loader, a cleaner rod which is about 400mm long. This sniper rifles only comes with only one magazine clip but I suggest you pick up a second clip, which only runs for about $10-$12. It also comes with a forward and rear sight, which the rear sight is already attach to the sniper rifle. The forward sight in my opinion is a piece of shit, it’s just a plastic sight, it doesn’t even have the white marking to sight with. The magazine clip is also plastic not like some other clips like UTG magazine clips that are metal. The JG Bar10 magazine clips holds about 26 bb’s , their also spring feed and they work pretty well, it ain’t going to break on you anytime soon. The work and that all it matters.

JG BAR10 G-Spec Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle

The outside of the gun, the stock, body and grip is made out of a rubber based paint that gives it a nice feel and hold to the spring sniper rifle. At first it may look like cheap plastic to yourself but it really and good solid rubber paint coat.  The butt stock of the gun has a rubber padding stock but is easily removable to open up an extra compartment  to carry extra bb’s or tools. Personally I would add weight in the compartment because the the sniper rifle is a little front heavy.

The bolt action pull back on the JG BAR10 is really smooth, one of the smoothest bolt action sniper rifles I’ve tried. I found that pulling back the bolt toward your shoulder is much easier and quieter than pulling it from the side or away from you. With the JG BAR10 Airsoft sniper rifle you can shoot at 400FPS stock using a 0.20 gram bb’s.

By far it’s a awesome gun for beginners and pro’s. The price for this Airsoft sniper rifle is relevantly cheap but the quality is excellent! Like I’ve mention earlier,  the gun is fully upgradeable, extremely light weight, and accurate. Coming straight from the manufacturer it comes complete with the sniper gun, 3-9x zoom scope with lens covers, speed loader, magazine, manual, and all of the hardware you need to assemble the gun.  If you are looking for an inexpensive bolt action sniper that performs well and has a lot of potential then the JG BAR 10 Airsoft sniper rifle is for you and this conclude the JG Bar 10 review, I hope it was informational!

Bolt action Airsoft sniper rifles are high powered and the most realistically resemble their real counterparts sniper rifles. They are noteably heavier than other spring rifles because of their full metal body/barrel construction and are extremely powerful and accurate at long distance range. Most airsoft players would say that the power and accuracy of a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle is what makes it such a great weapon.  Some players says it depends where you play, if you are playing an airsoft game indoor, the bolt action airsoft rifle is not so great. They say that bolt action rifles perform best outdoors because the range and power is better utilized. It is also less expensive  to purchase a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle verse a electric spring loaded airsoft sniper rifle.

The Bad Part of Owning a Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle

Some reason to why owning a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle is the weight of the airsoft rifle. Since the bolt action sniper rifles are made to resemble and feel of it realistic counter part, so does the weight of it. Imagine running around the battle field with a 10-15 pound airsoft sniper rifle. Another reason is the upkeep of a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle. Most of the bolt action rifles are mechanically moving parts which mean you need to make sure you keep these part lube. People tend to clean and re-lube their gun after every game just to keep it in correct working order. Think of it like owning a car, you need to do maintenance on it every so many miles or for this instance games.

To make a long post short, it all depends on how you play airsoft. If you are really into and care about your guns then the upkeep of a bolt action airsoft sniper won’t bother you, otherwise look for another type of airsoft sniper rifle maybe a gas-powered airsoft sniper rifle!
