Well exactly how good is a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle compare to and spring airsoft sniper rifle or even a gas-powered airsoft sniper rifle. This question has come up many of times on the playing field during a tactic combat session and we always talk on and on about this topic. Lets break it down on the benefits of a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle.

What is a Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle

Bolt action Airsoft sniper rifles are high powered and the most realistically resemble their real counterparts sniper rifles. They are noteably heavier than other spring rifles because of their full metal body/barrel construction and are extremely powerful and accurate at long distance range. Airsoft bolt action sniper rifles shoot 6mm 0.20 gram or 0.25 gram bbs and generally shoot at 400-550 FPS, at the rate you can do a lot of damage in close range so be extremely careful with this high-powere airsoft sniper rifle.

Why is a Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle So Great

Most airsoft players would say that the power and accuracy of a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle is what makes it such a great weapon. Some players says it depends where you play, if you are playing an airsoft game indoor, the bolt action airsoft rifle is not so great. They say that bolt action rifles perform best outdoors because the range and power is better utilized. It is also less expensive to purchase a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle verse a electric spring loaded airsoft sniper rifle.

The Bad Part of Owning a Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle

Some reason to why owning a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle is the weight of the airsoft rifle. Since the bolt action sniper rifles are made to resemble and feel of it realistic counter part, so does the weight of it. Imagine running around the battle field with a 10-15 pound airsoft sniper rifle. Another reason is the upkeep of a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle. Most of the bolt action rifles are mechanically moving parts which mean you need to make sure you keep these part lube. People tend to clean and re-lube their gun after every game just to keep it in correct working order. Think of it like owning a car, you need to do maintenance on it every so many miles or for this instance games.

To make a long post short, it all depends on how you play airsoft. If you are really into and care about your guns then the upkeep of a bolt action airsoft sniper won’t bother you, otherwise look for another type of airsoft sniper rifle maybe a gas-powered airsoft sniper rifle!

Well MB03 Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle Features

The Well MB03 Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle has a slightly longer barrel then the MB02 counter part which makes the accuracy of this airsoft sniper rifle extremely precise. The MB03 has a capacity of 30 rounds and shoots at an FPS 400/ 200-250 feet using a 0.2 g BB. It also comes with an 3-9 x 40 scope with scope rings. I’ve seen this airsoft sniper being offer on AirSplat.com which to me provides us the best price for this weapon, currently being sold at $60 excluding shipping.

More in depth review of the Well MB03 Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle is that teh 3-9 x 40 scope is a real scope it also comes with a metal bipod. The MB03 is a bolt action airsoft sniper rifle, the recoil of this airsoft sniper rifle isn’t too bad, the power of the shoot is amazing for the distance we shoot it at. The whole sniper rifle is sturdy and very reliable. The MB03 comes in all black which makes it harder to see when in combat or under cover.

We did a little test to see how powerful the Well MB03 Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle really is and concluded that at 200-250 feet we were able to shoot through CDs and also a DVD case with a DVD inside clearly through! Like we said the Well MB03 Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle is very accurate and powerful for the price range it’s being sold at. I would not consider this as a low cost airsoft sniper rifle but you’ll get what you paid for and quality of a sniper rifle always comes before cost.
